Course Content

This is the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's (CIPD) foundation programme for training specialists. If you are working in training and wish to gain accreditation for your training practice or want to raise your profile by joining CIPD and engage in personal and professional development, you will find this course has much to offer.

You might also want to consider this course if you have decided to move into a career in training.However, if this is the case and you have not had any experience of training before, you will need to discuss this with us further at the interview.

The course covers:

• identifying training and development needs
• designing training courses and sessions
• delivering training, assessing achievement
• evaluating the effectiveness of training
• managing/administering training programmes
• personal/professional development.

This is a professional course, so in order to achieve your certificate, it is necessary for you to join and pay a year's subscription to the CIPD. This is your responsibility and the cost, which will be around £135.00, is not included in the course fee.

Assessment

You will be assessed through observation of your practical training skills and through written assignments.
