Entry Requirements:
If you are currently working at the level of personnel assistant, personnel administrator or personnel officer, or you are new to or aspiring to a career in the personnel function, then this course may be for you. We are happy to design and deliver a bespoke programme for companies who wish to support a group of their staff in achieving this qualification (fees to be negotiated). You must have an English qualification (GCSE A-C or equivalent), undertake an initial assessment exercise at interview and become a member of the CIPD.
Course Content
On this course you will learn to:
- assess the personnel function's contribution to achieving organisational goals
- prepare and conduct face-to-face interviews
- be confident in all areas vital to effective and efficient recruitment and selection
- plan and carry out a short training session
- give basic feedback
- use assessment and evaluation techniques
- apply the fundamentals of employment law
- recognise the practical relevance of your organisation's policies and procedures
- improve the performance of the team and encourage development using effective performance review processes.
Assessment
Four assignments; two skills based and two written. You will complete an assessed project, self-study materials and maintain a personal development portfolio.
