Course Description:
This is a concise qualification designed to give you a basic knowledge of the various roles, functions and responsibilities of a team leader, and the limits of their authority and accountability. The underpinning unit of 'Developing yourself as a Team Leader' is a good starting point for team/cell leaders who are new to their roles or for aspiring leaders who wish to gain a solid understanding of the principles and practicalities of team leading.
Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements to join this course, but you should either be a practising or aspiring team leader and have a good command of English, both written and verbal, to Level 1.
Course Content:
Developing yourself as a team leader plus a choice of optional units including:
- Developing a team
- Motivating a team to perform well.
Additional Information:
The course fee of £250 includes tuition, learning resources, course registration with ILM and ILM membership for one year.

On successful completion of this course, you may wish to progress onto the Level 3 Award in First Line Management.
