It’s a widely held belief that a thriving local Higher Education centre is the heartbeat of a strong, attractive, sustainable and economically thriving community. We believe that Higher Education has a key role to play in the future of Milton Keynes and that UCMK is ideally placed to meet this challenge and ensure that our communities are equipped to respond to challenging economic, social and cultural trends.

Thanks to the foresight and commitment of the local Milton Keynes community, we now a stunning new university centre that is delivering a high quality educational experience to many students. We know from our work with the community, employers and civic bodies that there is a much bigger demand for higher education locally that we are not yet able to satisfy. We recognise importance and value of universities and colleges in stimulating and enriching the community. UCMK and its university partners will work closely with the government, stakeholders and the funding agencies to ensure that the Milton Keynes community benefits from all that HE can offer.
