Learning Support

Learning Support

Students sometimes need some additional help with their learning. At UCMK we provide a weekly Drop In Service for students in term time to help with supporting their needs. If you have an additional learning need, such as dyslexia, then you are welcome to ‘drop in' and discuss any difficulties you are having. We can offer advice on topics such as developing your spelling and punctuation, planning, proof reading and time management. We can also offer advice on how to claim for the Disabled Students' Allowance.

The Drop In is on Tuesdays from 12.30 to 2.30 and is open to all students at UCMK.  It is located in the atrium gallery on the ground floor of UCMK.  It is run by Isla Norwood who is a dyslexia specialist at Milton Keynes College.

When students transfer to partner universities from UCMK they will find that all partners provide similar support services.
